1) Read Lynda.com H.O.T – Ch.7 (Working with Typography)
2) Edited the layout to my site.
3) Created a backup of my current site. I did this by making a copy of the folder that holds all of my files, i.e. the site root folder, so that when I make edits, I always have the original to fall back on. I started by editing the <body> values, then .twoColElsRt #container, etc...
